Case study 02 · PBC Baseball
A custom logo and uniform system built to give a little league team the confidence, cohesion, and presence of a true ball club.

The opportunity
The client arrived with AI-generated uniform and logo concepts and a clear ambition: turn that early inspiration into an original, cohesive system that could be manufactured accurately and look sharp from the first pitch to the final out.
That meant rebuilding the work from the ground up—sourcing the right typographic voice, drawing a complete custom number set, and adapting every decision to the manufacturer’s uniform dielines.
The challenge
AI-generated references can suggest a direction, but they do not provide a dependable identity system or production files. Every mark, letterform, number, placement, and trim detail had to be resolved intentionally before a manufacturer could put it on the field.
We identified type with the weight, rhythm, and heritage the team needed, then shaped it into a coherent family of marks.
A fully custom athletic number set made player personalization feel like part of the identity—not an afterthought.
Manufacturer-supplied templates turned creative decisions into precise, production-ready uniform artwork.
Custom number system
The numbers were drawn specifically for PBC, balancing a classic varsity silhouette with the proportions and cut corners used across the logo family. The result stays legible at game speed and consistent on every player’s back.

The uniform system
Two complete colorways give the team variety without losing recognition. Script and block marks, sleeve badges, piping, trim, and custom numbers all speak the same visual language.

An extra inning
Once the core system was working, we pushed it further with a set of complimentary practice-shirt designs. The added concepts gave the club more ways to build team pride while showing how flexible the identity could become.
The result
What began as loose generated references became a fully original, coordinated, and manufacturer-ready system. The client was completely satisfied, and the team received a uniform family designed with the same care as the players who would wear it.
