Case study 03 · COMO Moles
Our first client.
Their first recognizable face.
A mascot-led identity that turned a practical local service into a brand people could recognize, remember, and trust.

The first yes
A milestone for us.
A new identity for Moses.
COMO Moles was Lion + Lamb Creative’s first customer as a branding business. Owner Moses Clapp reached out needing a complete logo package for his mole-trapping company.
We began with a video call to understand the business, the audience, and the loose vision he had in mind. One detail was certain: the identity needed to incorporate the outline of Missouri.

The creative leap
Don’t just name the service.
Give it a personality.
Rather than relying on a simple wordmark, we created a highly stylized mole with his hands raised in surrender. The pose makes the service instantly understandable while giving COMO Moles a friendly, ownable character to carry the brand.

Meet the mascot
Caught in the act.
Hands up.
The miner’s helmet connects the character to life underground. The rocks establish the environment, while the raised paws add humor and tell the trapping story in one glance.
The logo family
One character.
Multiple ways to show up.
The package gives the business a flexible set of marks for wide spaces, square placements, social profiles, apparel, vehicles, and everyday brand materials.

Built to work
A complete system,
ready for business.
Missouri anchors the brand to its service area. The mascot creates recognition. The alternate lockups make the identity practical wherever the business needs to appear.
From call to completion
7Roughly seven days.
No wasted motion.
A focused discovery conversation and decisive creative direction let us deliver the complete logo package quickly—so Moses could begin putting the new identity to work almost immediately.
The result
A practical service became a brand with character.
COMO Moles left with more than a name on a page. The company gained a recognizable mascot, a flexible identity system, and the files needed to begin building its presence right away.
